HEFEST is a specialized software originally developed for the company PPD to manage the maintenance of the gas network, with a special emphasis on emergency interventions and breakdowns
Built on the principles of military software for situational awareness, at the moment of an accident it provides a spatial display and the location of all necessary information and actions in real time, from dispatchers to employees and vehicles in the field to an isolated part of the network when the valve is closed.

The software is also applicable to other network systems, such as water and sewage infrastructure.,

HEFEST: there was an accident!

Upon notification, the dispatcher maps the location and then the field teams see the locations of the accident, vehicles, employees and valves that need to be closed on mobile devices. The part of the network that is isolated is marked in red.

In the event of a failure, the HEFEST program immediately calculates which area of the network needs to be isolated by closing the shut-off valves in the gas network. On the left, there is a list of shut-off valves for closing, and clicking on a valve from the list quickly and efficiently leads us to the shut-off point.

It is possible to manage all shut-offs in the network. All employees who log into the mobile application are displayed on the gas network map for better coordination during shut-off operations. Once the network area is isolated, we can obtain a list of consumers experiencing a drop in gas pressure due to the closed-off area. We also have information on the gas volume in the isolated area, as well as parameters for the gas network maintenance system.

In addition to managing the isolation of parts of the gas network, HEFEST is also used for planning and executing network maintenance, as well as locating leaks.
